NEW DIE! DIE! DIE! TOUR VIDEO
Tuesday, August 17, 2010
Proving once again that Die! Die! Die! don’t do tours by halves - from house parties to arenas, from schools to community halls – the band has just completed a mammoth New Zealand tour, playing 25 shows, including supporting The Pixies, in just over 20 days.
In turn, proving once again that Blink (A Low Hum) doesn’t run tours by halves, as well as booking, promoting and tour managing one of the most intense local tours in recent memory, he also found the time to shoot and edit some highlights of the tour.
Featuring Tina Pihema from The Coolies, Wasted Lands is the third single from FORM. It was the last song the band wrote for the album, and like their live show is fast, punchy and undeniably catchy. Indeed it quickly burrows itself into your head and refuses to budge, but don’t be fooled this is no mere sing-a-long number, as it bursts back out your ear drums with a sonic blast.
