Flying Nun Records

When you create an account with Flying Nun Records, all we ask for is your name and email address so we can say hi back. If you wish to place an order then we will also need your name, delivery address and credit card details (if you are using one).

But, rest easy. All your details and information are safe and secure. Seriously. We don’t store credit card or bank account information nor any personal information, names, addresses, emails you give us through the Flying Nun Records website. All of these are used solely for the purpose of processing orders, or to get in touch about the music and things we are doing that you want to know about. Meaning, we will only ever send you an email if we have a question about your order or you have signed up for our newsletter.

Furthermore all your information is securely protected by an internet version of Fort Knox, and we will not sell or pass it on to any other business, organisation or person.

When you use your credit card on our website, the information is transmitted using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol. This encrypts your information, and no one but us can see it, and even if someone did, it would be nonsensical to them. Your name and address will always remain secure with us. Once we receive your order, your personal information is immediately isolated on a secure server with our online payment provider Paystation Limited.

Your transaction is processed immediately, so your credit card number is never stored on any server. If you have any questions regarding privacy or security please email orders@flyingnun.co.nz.

All prices on the site are in New Zealand dollars, which may sound exotic to many people buying overseas or even part of a clever marketing strategy. But really it is because most of our artists like them, so it just made sense to start collecting them. They also include GST when the order is to be delivered within New Zealand.

Refund and Return Policy

We do not accept returns or offer refunds on any purchases, except in the case of damaged or broken goods, or if, in the unlikely situation we accidently botch your order up

Once your order has been shipped, we cannot accept any cancellations. If you notice any problems with your order in your confirmation e-mail, please contact us immediately at orders@flyingnun.co.nz and we will make every effort to correct it.

We cannot be held responsible for any orders lost or damaged during shipping. We will make every attempt to get your order to you in a safe and timely fashion.

With all physical products in stock, the order is fulfilled, packed and shipped by the next business day. Delivery will be made as soon as possible after the order has been accepted, and in any event within four weeks of the order. If we are unable to deliver the goods within four weeks of the order, we will inform you as soon as possible and you will be entitled to cancel and refund. By the way, if your order is returned to sender, depending on the reason, we may need charge for re-sending it to you.

If you have purchased a digital product your download link is valid for seven days. If for some reason you are unable to receive your purchase in those seven days, you can email us at orders@flyingnun.co.nz or fill out the Activation Request form for the particular download and explain the situation, eg. the dog ate your iPad. If we believe you and the reason is agreed valid, we will re-activate the link for another seven days. We do not offer refunds on digital products unless it was our dog that ate your iPad.
