'Give a Glimpse of What Yer Not' is Dinosaur Jr.'s  fourth album as a reformed unit, and this 2016 album continues the band’s decades-long path of great records, filled with Mascis’ signature lazy drawl and searing guitar. There’s something special about J, Lou, and Murph playing together again, there seems to be a balance of ideas among them, a sense of restraint that sometimes was missing during Mascis’ years alone. In fact, the last four records that the band has released may have been the best they’ve ever done.
