FODR (pronounced fodder) is a project from Isaac McFarlane (guitar/vocals), Kieran Ormandy (bass) and Jamie Hannah (drums).  Now split across the islands of Aotearoa FODR is embracing the intuitive philosophy of quick writing, quick recording and quick releasing - producing and performing music in concentrated bursts and using music as a great excuse for the three friends to get together in one place and have some fun. Bleeding Star are a young Te Whanganui-a-Tara band named after a particular song and album released by a Ōtautahi band via Flying Nun Records, in 1993. Yep, I'm sure you guessed the original band. They were named after a rather famous French existentialist. Anyway, Bleeding Star's music certainly has traces of their namesakes song and album, but with their own refreshing take.
