Flying Nun Records, Live Nation and Village Sounds are so very pleased to share the news we have ALL been waiting for; acclaimed singer and songwriter Aldous Harding will return home to perform three intimate live shows in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch this October.
ALDOUS HARDING 2022 AOTEAROA TOUR
H. Hawkline, a contributing musician to two Aldous Harding albums including Warm Chris and Designer — will be the special guest on all Aotearoa dates.
Lyttelton-native Hannah Harding, better known by her nom de plume Aldous Harding, got an early break after being spotted busking by Anika Moa and first drew widespread critical acclaim for her self-titled 2015 debut that was co-produced by Marlon Williams and Ben Edwards. Successive outings like 2017’s Party, 2019’s Designer, and now 2022’s Warm Chris have continued to drive Harding’s success, resulting in Album of the Year nominations at the New Zealand Music Awards and the APRA Music Award-winning single ‘The Barrel’.
Warm Chris includes contributions from a variety of respected names, including H. Hawkline, Seb Rochford, Gavin Fitzjohn, John and Hopey Parish and Jason Williamson of Sleaford Mods.
