Matt Paul from the band says about the song - Don't Ask Why is kinda like the track we did for Radio Norfolk that was more 'old school GW'. I guess its probably the closest thing we've done to a love song, but its more about making sure you're doing the stuff in your life that's important to you, with people you like, and not losing yourself too much in the mix. The title of the song kinda refers to the whole idea of needing to know everything in life, always checkin' cellphones, shazams and instagrams... we live in an info-heavy time, I feel like not knowing stuff kinda adds a bit more spark to life these days. Definitely in terms of music, always trying to figure stuff out, check out lyric genius or something... more often than not I feel like it would've been better for me to just kick back and listen to the tune.
