Porpoise are an Ōtepoti Dunedin band. Their song Things I Never Asked starts out lulling you into a false sense of ease. But don't get too comfortable. Before you know it things have transformed into an intense climax of cello, battling guitars and thundering rhythms. It is serious music, following in the footsteps of the many fine musical traditions from the deep south.
Porpoise are currently on tour as part of the Eyegum Scenic Tours and are also performing the following shows;
- 30th September - Dark Room - Christchurch
- 1st October - The Crown Hotel - Dunedin
