Stephen, consisting of band members David Kilgour (The Clean), Alf Danielson (Goblin Mix, Chug), Geoff Hoani (Chug), and Steven Kilroy (Chug, King Loser, Heka), formed in 1986 and released Radar Of Small Dogs in 1993 in compilation with their previous EP, Dumb (FN123). The album also includes two live Sony Walkman TCS-300 recordings from a show at the Subway Tavern, Dunedin in 1989, complete with crowd chatter, tape fuzz and all.
The album was remastered and released by the excellent Joyful Noise record label.
You can also buy the album from David Kilgour's website - limited copies available.
The album was amongst the masters to be transferred to the National Library to form the Flying Nun collection there. Learn more about How The Lost Flying Nun Master Tapes Found A Home here and about William Daymond's story cataloging them here.
