Ōtautahi-based musician Hannah Everingham popped onto our musical radar a few months ago, with the release of her charming debut single 'So Long Underground'.
After allowing the track's sweetness to sink into our ears for a little while, Hannah has released the self-directed music video compiling creative commons footage with thanks to Archives New Zealand.
Hannah Everingham has also has announced her debut album Between Bodies, which will be released on November 24th. The 8 tracks on the album present a unique portrait of human experience, embedding sincere songwriting amongst vast local landscapes. The album was recorded in St Martins with the help of Thomas Isbister and De Stevens over a summer period in Aotearoa - "a summer where the ocean cools with La Niña, the wind blows a little too frequently, the fish are never quite caught, I was probably reading a little bit too much James K. Baxter", says Hannah.
