Icons of the 90's underground, Pavement (made up of Stephen Malkmus, Scott “Spiral Stairs” Kannberg, Mark Ibold, Bob Nastanovich and Steve West) are returning to Aotearoa to perform two headline theatre shows in Auckland and Wellington.
Pavement have released many influential albums in their time (which we always make sure we have stock of in our shop's crates!) and their tunes have seeped quite naturally into Flying Nun's musical landscape (check out Steve Malkmus' cover of 'Death and The Maiden' from our Under the Influence collection). After recently reuniting, Pavement are embarking on their first international tour in a decade - and we are very stoked that they have teamed up with Banished Music, Strange News and Solid Entertainment to perform at Auckland's Civic Theatre and Wellington's newly refurbished St James Theatre in March of 2023.
Check the details below and be sure to grab tickets - we don't think they'll last very long.
