Flowing through minimal beats, spaced-out guitars and graceful melodies fill the atmosphere of this sweet and simple tune. It was written and produced by Annemarie Duff (ex Melbourne shoegazers, Miniatures):
“Written as a chronic cynic, trying out dipping my toes into the soup, right at the end of summer in Ōtautahi 2022. Not that it matters what I think about life, but this was a fun wee tune to make. ”
T. G. Shand came to life as Annemarie’s vision in 2018.
“After Miniatures disbanded, it’s been a good way to keep the music ideas flowing and learn new skills on both bass and guitar.” Annemarie’s shoegaze roots found influences from the likes of Curve, Chapterhouse, Medicine, and equally from hip-hop heroes such as Pip Millet, Danny Brown, and Little Simz.
'Little Sieve' is available on all digital platforms and as a 7” mono lathe cut vinyl via Bandcamp.
