Jazmine Mary, the recipient of the Auckland Live Best Independent Debut category prize at the Taite Music Prize 2022 ceremony, has dropped their reimagination of Elvis Presley's swoony classic, 'Love Me Tender'. 

Releasing alongside the single is a black and white super 8 music video shot by Soft Bait’s bassist Ezra Simons.

The Taite Music Prize was held on Sunday the 28th of May at Q Theatre in Tāmaki Makaurau/Auckland. It was a very special night bringing together people from all over the country to celebrate the people who make up Aotearoa's musical landscape.
