Nearer further deepens their signature sound, broadening the scope suggested by their 2023 debut, Fourth Horse. With ten songs dripping with sonic, lyrical and exploratory intent, it is their honour to let it loose on both vinyl and streaming.
Its shoe-gazing lead single, ‘Sweet’, was a hit on student radio back in the autumn, topping the SRN charts for weeks on end. Nearer’s next single, ‘Most at Ease’, drives home their pop intent with forceful synths, dark guitars and sweet harmonies.
