German session musicians Horst Ackermann and Heribert Thusek present ‘Science Fiction Dance Party: Dance With Action’ under the name The Science Fiction Corporation. The rare 1968 follow-up to their already hard-to-find 1968 album ‘Dracula’s Music Cabinet’, it’s a splashy, kaleidoscopic romp through kosmische, easy listening and psychedelia. Paralleling the space rock compositions of Jean-Jacques Perrey and the slightly earlier experiments of Joe Meek, with track titles like 'Visitors Of A.D. 2022', 'Hit Parade In The Light Year 25', 'The Whistling Astronaut' and 'Man Out Of A Test Tube', this album is a microcosm of these influences, from comedy to experimentalism to skilled jazz played with a Krautrock edge, making for a serious head rush out of this planet.
