King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard - Live at Levitation ‘16 (Vinyl)
Recorded at the 2016 Levitation Festival in Austin, this is another live set from a bit after Nonagon Infinity came out and the band was getting more attention. All the Nonagon songs go hard with an especially good version of ‘Robot Stop’ here, it’s always cool to have ‘Hot Water’ and ‘Trapdoor’ mixed in with their usual psych rock stuff, ‘The River’ is as incredible as always here with wonderful jamming performances towards the end and a great closing performance of ‘Cut Throat Boogie’ from 12 Bar Bruise.
Another solid short and sweet live record, very tightly performed and executed.
