A reformed choirboy, a post-alt-country romantic now operating from the neon-hued, late-night sprawl of Tokyo, Japan, Gram Antler makes music that feels like a beautiful, hazy contradiction. Gram Antler’s style draws on a fluid, sophisticated line from the timeless glam of Roxy Music to the velvet-gloom of Richard Hawley; Slacker Yacht Rock—a world of hooky melodies, lush analog textures, and cinematic, late-night introspection that mirrors the atmospheric shift of his new surroundings.
 
‘Novel Lover’ is Gram Antlers' long awaited debut album, recorded in close collaboration with Tui Award-winning, Melbourne-based producer Brett Stanton ( The Phoenix Foundation, Beastwars).
