Run It Back is a 2023 album by the New Zealand hip-hop group Home Brew, marking their first release in over a decade. The group, led by Tom Scott and Haz Beats, hails from Auckland and is known for addressing social and political issues through their music. Run It Back contains shocking moments as well as points of anguish, regret and pain from struggles with long standing substance abuse and income instability – reflecting a brutal realism of life in Aotearoa.
Their classic 2012 debut album has become synonymous with hip hop in Aotearoa and was followed by a long list of successful musical endeavours from the members – including the critically acclaimed and award-winning Avantdale Bowling Club and Team Dynamite.
