International Velvet is the second album by Welsh band Catatonia. It was the band's breakthrough, reaching number 1 in the UK Albums Chart, spawning two Top 10 singles, "Mulder and Scully" and "Road Rage", and catapulted the band and lead singer Cerys Matthews into the spotlight.
It became one of the biggest selling albums of 1998 in the UK and was nominated for the Mercury Music Prize.
This special edition is pressed on recycled colour vinyl that reuses material and clippings from previous pressings. The result is that each vinyl is unique with its own colour combination.
