Somewhere along my time of Wellington living, I inevitably came across Hans Pucket’s album Eczema. It was at the same time I was swelling in post-uni and covid unemployment. I attached to ‘Old U vs the New U’ and this song is still a comforting reminder of what it’s like balancing life in the uncertainty. I’m a deep fan of where Oli’s honesty meets humour in his songwriting, and the bands endearing comedic live performance.
