Tāmaki Makaurau's favourite multi-venue festival — The Others Way — is back in 2023 on December 1st, and their first lineup boasts an abundance of fantastic artists, including Flying Nun Records family Vera Ellen and Office Dog amongst Souls of Mischief, Mary Lattimore, Mā, Ringlets, deepState and more!

‘Unchained’ is a playfully earnest song about being open to the unforeseeable future. “It’s about releasing myself from feeling unworthy and incapable of getting what I deserve. The wisdom of knowing that certain things will make sense eventually, so there’s no need to worry.”

Clementine Valentine, the Coromandel-based art-pop duo formerly known as Purple Pilgrims, share the fourth and final single ‘Selenelion’ off their upcoming album, The Coin that Broke the Fountain Floor, out August 25th via Flying Nun Records. The duo will also be performing four intimate shows around the country this September. The band says: “The song’s about putting in the hard yards before you have a beer. Sometimes it’s tempting to skip straight to cracking one open, but it’ll hit so much harder if you put in the work and get sweaty first. As soon as we figured that out we made a song about it.”
