Darcy Clay

Darcy Clay was a musician originally from the North Shore of Auckland, New Zealand. He is best known for the 1997 song Jesus I was Evil - but he also released the tracks All I Gotta Do and a cover of Dolly Parton's Jolene. 

Darcy Clay was originally signed to Antenna Records. 2021 saw a vinyl reissue of the Jesus I Was Evil EP with an additional six live tracks (‘Songs for Beethoven’), recording during the Blur support slot on October 24 1997 at the North Shore Events Centre. When available, the Flying Nun Records Store stocks this vinyl.
