TINY RUINS | ARTIST
Tiny Ruins is a music group led by Hollie Fullbrook - but also featuring Cass Basil (bass), Alexander Freer (drums) and Tom Healy (guitar). The band are based in Auckland, New Zealand.
In 2011, as a solo artist, Hollie (under the name Tiny Ruins) recorded the full-length album Some Were Meant for Sea. She then opened for Fleet Foxes and toured internationally with Calexico and Beach House.
The second album Brightly Painted One was released in 2014 and was more of a band album. It was released on vinyl, CD and digitally via a number of labels - Flying Nun in the USA, Arch Hill Recordings in New Zealand, Bella Union in the UK and Spunk in Australia. In 2016 a collaboration with David Lynch called Dream Wave was also released on a 7" inch single.
This was followed by the album Hurtling Through, which was a collaboration released by Tiny Ruins and Hamish Kilgour.
In 2019 Tiny Ruins released the record Olympic Girls.
