Twenty-two gigs and 2,184 hours in the practice room later, we have a CD. The group have also released a seven inch single on Flying Nun in 1994 and a number of recordings appeared on cassettes from the mysterious Opus Locus corporation.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAll three songs from the 7\" appear amongst this CD's 18 tracks. Six of the songs were recorded last year on a sixteen track temporary studio set-up at Auckland's Squid bar, the rest are collected from cassette four-track and eight-track sessions.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAll the way from the dreamy Sonic Youth guitar harmonics of \"The Way To Drown\" to songs featuring Drill's characteristic choppy guitar antics over a bed woven of feedback and drums, the band prove their songwriting talent. But there's also fun-plenty in the form of experiments like \"x-noise with Tina\" and the quirky Swell Maps-ing of \"Psychic Cheese Shop\" and \"Pay The Rent\".
