To say Peter Kruder & Richard Dorfmeister were a massive influence and inspiration to all things chill in the late '90's / early 2000's is a huge understatement.
Their only full album (other than the remix collection , the K & D Sessions) is aptly titled 1995, and this 'new' material evokes their classic sound, and there’s a good reason for that – this is the debut album, recorded in 1995, that everyone expected but never appeared.
in 2020 the duo rescued the DATs from the original Viennese dub basement, brought them into the light and, with minor tweaks, finally released their debut album on vinyl - after a 25 year pause. Now, that is chill!
Nobody has ever matched Kruder & Dorfmeister's singular sound and to have it back in 2020 is both a balm and a rare treat.
