The Nomad - ReGenerate (Vinyl)
ReGenerate marks a 30-year milestone for Aotearoa electronic pioneer The Nomad.
Beginning in 1996 with Locust and evolving into The Nomad in 1998, the album revisits unreleased ideas, reshapes past favourites, and introduces new material that bridges three decades while staying firmly rooted in bass, dub, reggae, and dancefloor culture. It's a forward-looking retrospective that celebrates longevity, experimentation, and the constant regeneration of sound.
Since emerging in 1996, The Nomad has built a reputation as one of New Zealand's most respected electronic artists, blending dub, reggae, house, drum & bass, jungle, and live instrumentation into a sound uniquely his own. The new release continues that tradition, delivering deep basslines, rich textures, and emotionally driven production shaped by years of experience in the studio and on stages throughout Aotearoa and beyond. For The Nomad, this release is more than just another record; it's a reflection of a lifelong journey through sound, community, creativity, and connection: "This music was made to be shared loudly, through sound systems, road trips, late-night radio, and on dancefloors. I wanted ReGenerate to be experienced as a complete album.
By releasing the full 16-track album exclusively on physical formats, we're keeping the complete experience unique for those who want to own it."
