WHAT WAS THAT THING? O & THE MO PERFORM 'PISTACHIO MOON'
O & The Mo were originally a duo, but they have now expanded to a four piece band, whose members are spread between Wellington, Nelson and Australia. The subtle and understated O sound hinges on minimalist swing, folky acoustic instruments and smoky vocals. Think early Cat Power mixed with a bit of Jazz, or Tiny Ruins in the summertime.
