Flying Nun Records Music News — 40th Anniversary

This past Saturday we had the second Flying Nun 40th Birthday show at Wellington's Michael Fowler Centre. It was a huge night, with 8 bands and two stages. For this Second photo instalment we have Voom, Reb Fountain, Subliminals and The Chills. All photos by Bruce Mackay. 

Only a few days to go until our Flying Nun 40th show at the Auckland Town Hall - which is now sold out. It is going to be a huge night with three stages, a dozen acts and all kinds of other fun stuff to keep you entertained. 

Flying Nun's made 40 trips around the sun, and writer Martin Aston has been along for the ride for the majority of them. Martin has written for MOJO, Q, The Guardian, The Times, Attitude, Radio Times and BBC Music Online, and has authored four books, including 'Facing The Other Way: The Story of 4AD" and a book on Bjork.
