Herb's Mobile Record Store (one of the products of legendary capital music destinations, past and present - Evil Genius, Death Ray and Moon) has been zooming its vinyl crates around Te Whanganui-A-Tara/Wellington for almost an entire year now, bringing interesting rekkids to the people, sometimes on the side of the road, sometimes on a beach, sometimes in a carpark - and owner Ben reckons its time to throw a party to celebrate the big 01.
Taking over Vogelmorn Hall on the 21st of October, Herbs will be rolling up from 11am to sell some music as usual - and "will probably be doing some sweet Bday discounted warez". Not only that, attendees will be treated to delicious kai (courtesy of Smoked & Pickled) and live performances by The Nudge, Kuki Koori (Iain Gordon of Fat Freddys Drop and Mick Finn), Double ya D and the Cosmic Hags with visuals by Lady Lazer Light.
