Yumi Zouma have announced they are releasing a new album! Named Present Tense, it comes out on March 18th. Accompanying the announcement is the release of the album's third single, In The Eyes Of Our Love. Watch and listen here:
Present Tense is a reflection of its time, and for the band it was the result of two years away from the road. This time away proved beneficial for the album, as it afforded the band a new appreciation for the friendship they’ve sustained and the opportunity an abundance of time off-cycle offered. Guitarist Josh Burgess commented that “we used to run on adrenaline, and if a song wasn’t working we’d just nip it in the bud and move on. This process gave us the opportunity to really sit with songs and rethink them until they felt like they belonged in the collection.”
Present Tense is set for release on March 18th via PIAS Australia.
