Princess Chelsea has today shared a new song and video. Settle in and watch Everything Is Going To Be Alright, below:

The video for Everything Is Going To Be Alright was filmed in Glenorchy, near Queenstown. Princess Chelsea, real name Chelsea Nikkel, spoke about the experience of filming the video: "I went to a petting farm with no intention to make a video or film. However, I accidentally got this amazing one shot that lasted 3 minutes and in my eyes was undeniably cinematic. [...] Also I reckon I was unconsciously channeling Stuart Page's infamous video for AFFCO by Skeptics - he's making my next vid, so it should be special! Sorry for ripping you off Stu!"

Everything Is Going To Be Alright is the first single to be released on Princess Chelsea's upcoming album by the same name. She wrote the record while on a hiatus from live music towards the end of 2018. "I started recording this single in 2019 when I was going through a rough patch" says Nikkel. "You can hear the tension - someone trying to convince themselves that everything is OK even if it's not." Nikkel notes that "Everything Is Going To Be Alright also features a vocal canon which is going to crop up on a number of the new songs. It is my year of vocal canons and guitar feedback."

Everything is Going To Be Alright, the album, is set for release in September 2022 via Lil' Chief Records.
