The Taite Music Prize was held on Sunday the 28th of May at Q Theatre in Tāmaki Makaurau/Auckland. It was a very special night bringing together people from all over the country to celebrate the people who make up Aotearoa's musical landscape.
Local racket extraordinaires, Long Distance Runner, have signed to Aotearoa label, Sunreturn. This link up comes along with the announcement of a new album, Shadow, out on July 15th. The band is made up of Simon Oswald, Jono Glenday, Sam Cussen and Sam Shepherd and they are based in Te-Whanganui-A-Tara (Wellington) and Ōtepoti (Dunedin).
